The TALENTED TENTH FOUNDATION produces the annual Outstanding African American Students™ Awards Program in association with ELANNI PUBLISHING. The program highlights the achievements of noteworthy students from grades one through twelve who have made significant strides in such areas as art, music, sports, academics, creative writing, computer technology and community and church leadership. Each honored student is spotlighted in an 8-1/2 x 11-inch hardback publication that features his or her photograph along with a brief biographical summary of accomplishments. In selected cities, honored students are feted at a special awards ceremony attended by parents, families, teachers and others at no admission cost and hosted by local dignitaries. At the awards ceremony, students receive a free copy of the publication along with a special commemorative awards certificate.
